Please Come to Mangapapa School!!!

 Today in Cybersmart we had to create a clip using WeVideo. This video was to show people different places around Mangapapa School and encourage them to come for a visit, or even better, to make this their primary school. 

We had to do this in a group and It was quite difficult to make sure everyone had a fair share and creating the clip. In the end our one was pretty cool and we showed the pool, year 6's doing patrols, the playground, and even parts of the art room including some masterpieces on the wall, and some MKids creating more fantastic artwork.

It was also Challenging to make the video exactly 30 seconds when we wanted to add in so many amazing places around Mangapapa School.

Dream places!

 Today in cybersmart we had to create fake media. To do that, we had to randomise buddys and create their dream location. My buddy really wanted to go to fiji so i had to create a beach view with edited media in it. 🙃😁

It had to be a post card convincing that they should really go to their dream location. I edited the palm trees, me in the photo, and the two towels lying on the sand.
We learnt about how not everything you see on the internet is real and most unbelievable things are photoshopped.

Fake or Real?!?

 Today we explored alot of different images and we were discussing if they were real or fake. Then, we got the opportunity to create our own image! (using remove.bg, and unsplash)   I paired up with Helena, my friend.

We were learning about how some images that we see online are fake although you might believe what is in the picture/image.

I found it easy to create it in my mind and think of all the things that I could add to it.

I found it hard to actually get all the images that would fit just right for what I was needing.

I really enjoyed being creative and making a really weird animal using a range of cool things.

My advice is that people need to think about the information they see as it is easy for people to trick you with fake images.

Owl art!!!

 In the Art room today we made OWL ART!!!

It was easy to choose all the colours for the owl and made it look creative.

It was quite tricky to use the feathering technique and make sure it looked like there were feathers on it.

I loved doing this with all the different colours and making it unique!!!

Mangapapa Eats and Entertainment Gala poster!!!

 Mangapapa Eats and Entertainment Gala is coming up! On Friday 13th, (November) you can come along to Mangapapa School's Mini Gala! There will be alot going on for you to enjoy:)

I found it hard to find the right images for the circumstance, but it was worth it in the end when my poster was finished!

It was easy to place the text in and have fun with the emojis.🙃😆

I really enjoyed creating this with my friends help and making it colourful.🤩

next time I need to take more time when making this and not rush through it.

What is Media?

What is media?

We were learning about different types of media and how much we consume in one day. 

I found it easy to think of all the media in the world at the moment.

I found it hard to realise that books, art, newspaper and more are also considered media.

I really enjoyed making the slide with friends and adding all the images.

Next time I need to use my time well and concentrate during all time.

Fixing a broken Scratch game~Blog Commenting!

 Have you ever tried to fix up a broken scratch game? 

I did, and it was really hard to crack all the codes and organise them into the right order.👀

I was learning to create a scratch game about blog comments. 

I enjoyed customising everything to make it fit.

I found it hard to put all the codes in the right order when there was so many! 

I haven't finished but this is what I have got to so far.👌

 We were learning about nice comments and smart relationships.

I found it easy to make all the texts and images.

I found it hard to use only a little bit of time.

I really enjoyed making the comic and putting in different effects.

Waka trip

We were learning about Waka and how they work.

I found it easy to learn about how they work.

I found it hard to stay in such small places.

I really enjoyed exploring the different ways the Waka works.

We were learning about how to get our messages across using different ways.

I found it easy to create the moves to the song.

 I found it hard to teach it to the people who didn't learnt it.

I really enjoyed dancing and making up moves with my friends.

Next time I need to have more time to create the dance.

I found it easy to use word art and find things I like.

I found it hard to find images that matched what I like when not using copyright.
